Digital Products
For digital products (such as downloadable templates, guides, or other digital assets):
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds for digital products are available within 14 days of purchase if the product is defective, does not function as advertised, or cannot be accessed.
- Non-Refundable Circumstances: Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, it generally cannot be refunded unless it is defective or significantly different from what was advertised.
- Proof Required: You may be required to provide evidence that the digital product is defective or not as described.
Subscription Services
For subscription-based services (such as premium memberships or recurring access to tools):
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our customer support team.
- Prorated Refunds: For monthly subscriptions, we do not offer refunds for partial months. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Annual Subscriptions: For annual subscriptions, if you cancel within the first 14 days, you may be eligible for a full refund. After 14 days, you may be eligible for a prorated refund based on the unused portion of your subscription, less any applicable fees.
- Free Trial Periods: If you cancel during a free trial period, no charges will be made to your payment method.
Consulting and Custom Services
For consulting services, custom projects, or bespoke solutions:
- Deposit Refunds: Initial deposits for custom work are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Cancellation Prior to Work: If you cancel a project before work has commenced, you may be eligible for a full refund of any deposits paid, less a 10% administrative fee.
- Cancellation During Work: If you cancel a project after work has commenced but before completion, you may be eligible for a partial refund based on the percentage of work completed.
- Completed Work: Once custom work has been completed and delivered according to the agreed specifications, it is not eligible for a refund.
All custom service agreements will include specific terms regarding deposits, milestones, deliverables, and refund conditions that may supersede this general policy.
Workshops and Webinars
For workshops, webinars, and other educational events:
- Cancellation by Customer: Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled event. Cancellations made between 2-7 days before the event may receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for refunds.
- Cancellation by AI Design Hub: If we cancel or reschedule an event, you will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.
- Recorded Events: Purchases of recorded workshops or webinars follow the same policy as digital products.
Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer support team at refunds@aidesignhub.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your order number, the date of purchase, and the product or service for which you are requesting a refund.
- Provide a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
- Include any relevant documentation or evidence to support your refund request (if applicable).
Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Refund Processing Timeframes
Once a refund has been approved, the processing time depends on your payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
- PayPal: Refunds are usually processed within 2-3 business days.
- Bank Transfers: Refunds may take 7-14 business days to appear in your account.
Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and is beyond our control.
Exceptions to the Refund Policy
The following circumstances are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Requests made outside the specified timeframes for each product or service category.
- Services that have been fully delivered according to the agreed terms.
- Digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or used, unless they are defective.
